Next Increases its Jervis Presence
Fashion chain Next has announced that it will open an additional larger store at the Jervis Shopping Centre on 5th December 2010.
Next was one of the first overseas tenants in the Jervis Shopping Centre when it opened for business 16 years ago. Its current store fronting onto Mary Street has traded consistently well over the years and the company jumped at the opportunity to open another unit enabling it to stock ladies wear, menswear and home furnishings. The current store will remain open and specialize in children’s wear.
Next’s expansion plans will coincide with the arrival of two high profile overseas traders, Los Angeles-based Forever 21 and the UK multiple New Look. It will be the first European store for Forever 21, which has 500 outlets worldwide.
The Jervis Shopping Centre has more than 60 retail units featuring the biggest and best brands in Ireland. Stradivarius, Topshop, Topman, Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge and Wallis are just some of the centre’s stores and many are exclusive in the city centre to Jervis.
